JGC Forest has been a full service exporter of Russian and Baltic roundwood since 1991 and involved with biofuels since 2004. Our products consist of spruce and pine sawlogs; birch, aspen and coniferous pulpwood; birch, aspen and coniferous firewood, woodchips and wood pellets.
Russian pine sawlogs
The company specializes in large volume contracts with weekly or monthly shipments. These logs were one of 25 vessels of pine ordered by a Middle Eastern sawmill.
Firewood
JGC Forest is now a large provider of firewood to generating plants throughout Europe. The quality of our firewood is very similar to our pulpwood. We can offer mixed species or 100% aspen or 100% birch.
Woodchips
We produce and sell different sizes of woodchips for European heating plants and wood pellets producers. Usually the cargoes contain different species such as aspen, spruce, birch, alder, pine and ash. The common size is between 3-8cm. Depending on the customer's requirements, there is a possibility to produce smaller (<3cm) and bigger (>8cm) sizes. Also it is possible to offer shipments produced only from one type of material. This could be a suitable option for the producers of wood pellets. The average moisture content is 40-50%.
